ByteEd Unplugged Computational Thinking Resource: Jack & the beanstalk theme
Students work though hands on activities to create sequential algorithms to direct ByteEd Jack to escape from the Giant’s castle to his home safely!
Students are introduced to Computational Thinking concepts of:
Sequencial instructions
Algorithms
Decomposition, and,
Debugging
Differentiated tasks for each activity - creating algorithms for the most efficient and fastest route, Collecting the Giant’s treasure (musical harp, hen that lays golden eggs & gold) or/and magic beans on the way through the beanstalk.
